ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(Other duties will be assigned as needed)
Must be willing and able to do the following:
- Provides customer service at kitchen and beverage counters by presenting and explaining menus, advising as to price and taking
food/beverage orders via a computerized order system or manually when/if necessary. - Prepares pizzas by placing appropriate sauces and toppings on pizza rounds.
- Prepares beverages for customer consumption.
- Cooks pizzas in pizza oven.
- Slices and delivers pizzas to customers.
- Cleans parlor and parlor equipment including kitchen, beverage bar, dining room, restrooms and exterior areas of the parlor.
- Answers telephone taking orders and messages.
- Prepares raw pizza materials such as cheese, toppings and sauce for later use in pizza preparation.
- Computes sales amounts due, collects payment and makes change.
- Stocks, counts, warehouses pizza ingredients and supplies.
- Cleans cooking utensils, pizza trays, beverage containers and other food preparation or service items.
- Checks restaurant equipment at user level to insure proper operation reporting deficiencies to the proper maintenance authority.

- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
